Clarendon is a U.S. Based Property & Casualty insurance company whose parent company is Hannover Re, one of the leading reinsurance groups in the world.

Clarendon is comprised of four Property & Casualty insurance companies Clarendon National Insurance Company, Clarendon America Insurance Company, Clarendon Select Insurance Company and Harbor Specialty Insurance Company, which are no longer actively writing new business.

The Company's primary operational objective is successfully to runoff it's business, including the prompt payment of all legitimate policyholder claims. To that end, the company will invest its surplus wisely for the benefit of both policyholders and stakeholders alike, and operate as cost effectively as possible.
